Roman Capital Variation:
The decomposition & the Recomposition of the Line:
Cubist Calligraphy 005

「線を分解して再構築」から「面を分解して再構築」する演習に移っていたので、
Cubist Calligraphyがおろそかになっていました。（笑）


私が最近やっている Cubist Calligraphy の形態が、まさにこのQuotationと同じだったので、思わず引用してしまいました。
あくまでも形態ね。（笑）


Quotation:

時や場所や環境に関わらず、出会う運命の人たちとは、目に見えないが絶対に切れることのない糸で繋がっている。（意訳）-古代中国の諺

出会う人たちとは、どんな意味があって出会っているのかなぁと、少々深いことへ思いを巡らしています。

このartworkも試書きをRe:クリエーションしたものです。

試書き率が紙全面でしたので、まずはその試書きを消すのにアクリルでペイントした後に、

前から試してみたかったトランスファーという技（？）を追加しました。

秘密のメッセージのような雰囲気にしたかったので、まずまずの出来ではないでしょう。

トランスファーしたい紙を剥がす時に、予想外に剥がれてしまったアクリルの後が

けっこうよい雰囲気をプラスしていて、気に入っています。

私が試したトランスファーは、写したいものが反転する（鏡文字のようになる）ので、

しっかりと絵や柄や文字を見せたいときには、残念ながら無理な技ですね~。

きちんと転写する方法もあるようなので、さらなるリサーチしてみます。

Accordinon Circle Book

こちらは、試書きで書いた紙。
これは、わりと長さがあったので、カットして折ってアコーディオン状にして
それら何枚かを留めて繋げてあります。

広げるとアコーディオンのサークル（円）ができるBookです。
糸を使わずに、かがらないBookは、表情があって好きです。

それにしても、Waste Paper（書き損じや試書きにした紙）でRe：クリエーションするのは
想像していない表情がでるのが楽しいですね～。

シリーズ化してみます。
単純にシリーズ名は、" Waste Paper Series" でなく、
" Waste Paper/Re:Creation Series " にします。

Black Letters playing with White

Cubist Calligraphy をカリグラフィーペンで書こうとしたのですが・・・・

絵具のコントロールがむずかしぃかった。

ビルトアップ（細い線を何度も重ねて書いて線を太くしていく方法）で書いていくのがいいのかなぁ。

要実験です。

偶然の副産物でできたアセミックライティング的なコレも捨てがたいなぁ。

これも何かに生まれ変わる日がくるかもしれないので、しばらく取っておこう♪

White Boxes

White Boxes

40 x 40mm と 50 x 50mm のWhite Boxの集会。

あるプロジェクトのサンプルとして作ったもの。

こうして並べてあらためて見てみると、凛とした雰囲気が気に入ったので

もう何点か作ってみようかと。

Boxが白いからansaは、もっと派手なのが良さそうな気が。。。

いやぁ、小さくてシンプルだからこそ、アフタヌーンティスタンドに並べてもかわいいかも♡

折り紙/Origami

Folded Book: X Book

こちらも書き損じした紙を使っての簡易Bookです。 （以前のはこちら +++）

ちょうどサンプルでFolded Book（折っただけの本）を作りたかったので、

切って、折って、少しひねって、たたんでみましたところ・・・

思いがけない表情がでてきて、ワクワクしました。

サンプルといえど、コピー用紙でつくったのをみても、やはりイメージ膨らまなしぃ。。。

いい使い道ができて、嬉しいぃ。

Lines on Circle

書き損じした紙がかなり溜まっていたので、

取捨選択して、まったく使えないようなものを処分しようと思っていたのですが・・・

どうせ捨てるなら、カットしてからでもいいのでは？と思い立ち、丸くカットしてみました。

無造作に置いてみたら、線が重なったりして、線も形もなかなか面白い形になっています。

コラージュしてもよさそうですね。

いろいろな方法がありそうなので、しばらくいじってみます。


結局、捨てられなかった・・・・・
